SITE PURPOSE
Teletext Tools is a Ceefax-style platform for converters, calculators, random tools, printable paper, time tools, display pages and arcade games.
It is designed for fast access through page numbers, simple menus and fixed-frame screens.
CORE RULES
• NO PAGE-LEVEL SCROLLING
• NO OVERLAP
• PAGE NUMBERS for fast navigation
• short internal screens instead of dense pages
The result is a practical tool site with a retro teletext feel.
COMMON USERS
• students checking maths or units
• teachers using timers, randomisers or printables
• parents printing worksheets and paper
• office users needing quick calculators
• hobby users exploring retro tools and arcade pages
COMMON USE CASES
Use it to convert units, calculate percentages, print paper, run classroom selectors, use timers, test screens, play simple games or find quick everyday utilities.
The master directory is P101 and the full index is P199.
PAGE-NUMBER NAVIGATION
Use the PAGE box to jump instantly using three digits. Examples: 200 for converters, 400 for random tools, 500 for printable paper and 800 for arcade pages.
INTERNAL SCREENS
Some pages have more than one internal screen to keep everything visible. Use NEXT>>, <<PREVIOUS, swipe left/right or keyboard arrows.
Internal NEXT/PREVIOUS changes the screen inside the page, not the page number.
CONVERSIONS
Conversions use standard unit definitions where possible. Results are formatted for readability, with trailing zeros trimmed and very long decimals avoided when they do not help practical use.
Some school pages may favour clear classroom-friendly conventions where that is the purpose of the tool.
CHECKING RESULTS
If a result looks unexpected, check the FROM and TO units first. Unit symbols can be similar, so use P201 Unit Finder if unsure.
Very large or small values may use scientific notation when helpful.
